Dr Liza Hamman is an experienced teacher and facilitator with a special interest in mindfulness as an educational approach that promotes positive change and transformation. She has developed courses and course material for a variety of audiences and believes in a flexible approach based on individual needs.
Her interest in mindfulness was triggered in 2009 when she was introduced to the potential of mindfulness as a method to facilitate transformative learning during her master’s degree in adult education and training. Since then she has developed her own daily mindfulness practice and supports others on their journey towards living more mindfully. She is a certified mindfulness trainer and has recently completed her PhD studies which was focused on adult learning in relation to mindfulness.
